These Booking Conditions explain the terms under which Akshaya Travel provides travel planning, booking assistance and travel-related services. By requesting a quotation, confirming a reservation or purchasing travel services through Akshaya Travel, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Booking Conditions.
These Booking Conditions apply to all travel services arranged by Akshaya Travel, including but not limited to: flight reservations, hotel bookings, holiday packages, cruises, car rentals, transfers, travel insurance, visa assistance, customized travel planning and other travel-related services. Additional conditions imposed by airlines, hotels, cruise operators, insurance providers or other suppliers may also apply.
Submitting an inquiry through our website does not constitute a confirmed reservation. A booking is considered confirmed only after: availability has been verified, the customer has accepted the quotation, required payments have been received, and a written confirmation has been issued by Akshaya Travel. Availability is subject to change until confirmation.
All quotations provided by Akshaya Travel are non-binding, subject to availability, subject to price changes by suppliers, and valid only for the period specified in the quotation. Prices may change before confirmation due to supplier updates, exchange rate fluctuations, fuel surcharges or government taxes.
Unless otherwise stated, prices may include only the services specifically listed in the quotation. Additional costs may include: local tourist taxes, visa fees, airport taxes, optional excursions, resort fees, personal expenses, additional baggage and travel insurance. Customers are responsible for reviewing what is included before confirming their reservation.
Payment schedules will be communicated at the time of booking. Depending on the supplier, payment may require full payment, a partial deposit or scheduled instalments. Failure to make payment within the required deadline may result in cancellation of the reservation by the supplier.
Once payment has been received and confirmed, Akshaya Travel will provide booking documentation, which may include: flight tickets, hotel confirmations, cruise confirmations, travel itineraries, transfer vouchers and insurance documents. Customers are responsible for reviewing all travel documents immediately upon receipt.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all information provided during booking is accurate, including: full legal names, passport details, dates of birth, nationality and contact information. Errors may result in additional charges imposed by suppliers.
Customers are solely responsible for ensuring they possess: valid passports, required visas, entry permits, vaccination certificates where applicable, and any other travel documentation required by destination authorities. Akshaya Travel may provide general guidance but cannot guarantee entry into any country.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for every journey. Insurance may provide protection for events including: trip cancellation, medical emergencies, lost luggage, travel delays and personal liability. Customers are encouraged to carefully review the policy conditions before purchasing insurance.
Any request to modify a confirmed reservation is subject to: supplier approval, availability, applicable change fees and fare differences. Certain reservations may be non-changeable.
Occasionally airlines, hotels, cruise companies or other travel suppliers may modify: flight schedules, hotel accommodations, cruise itineraries, transportation arrangements and travel services. Akshaya Travel will make reasonable efforts to inform customers promptly and assist in finding suitable alternatives where possible.
Cancellation conditions vary depending on the supplier. Cancellation fees may apply. Some travel products are non-refundable, partially refundable or fully refundable under specific conditions. Customers should review the applicable cancellation terms before confirming any reservation.
Akshaya Travel shall not be responsible for delays, cancellations or disruptions caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, extreme weather, government actions, strikes, pandemics, political unrest, security incidents and airline operational decisions.
Akshaya Travel acts as an intermediary between customers and independent travel suppliers. Each supplier remains responsible for providing the services booked. This includes: airlines, hotels, cruise operators, car rental companies, insurance providers and local tour operators.
If an issue arises during travel, customers should immediately notify: the travel supplier, and Akshaya Travel. Prompt notification allows reasonable efforts to resolve the situation whenever possible.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Akshaya Travel shall not be liable for losses arising from: supplier actions, schedule changes, travel disruptions, government restrictions, force majeure events, customer documentation errors and customer failure to comply with travel requirements. Nothing in these Booking Conditions excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.
These Booking Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Switzerland unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
Akshaya Travel reserves the right to modify these Booking Conditions at any time. The version published on our website at the time of booking shall apply.
